Qual o limite para se dar publicidade daquilo que foi concebido para ser privado? Aqui se testa este limite, ao se dar visibilidade à correspondência ocorrida entre Giorgio Agamben e Hannah Arendt, em fevereiro de 1970, na qual ele, ainda um "jovem escritor e ensaísta", toma a liberdade de contactá-la e lhe mandar um ensaio que escrevera sobre a violência. Estas cartas foram "afanadas" do arquivo digital da Biblioteca do Congresso dos EUA, a partir de uma busca insana de referências bio-bibliográficas sobre Agamben e Arendt.
